Penn. Beta
Facts
- Phi Kappa Psi Pennsylvania Beta is the oldest, uninterrupted
chapter of any intercollegiate fraternity in the nation. The
chapter was founded May 8, 1855, and has resided on Allegheny's
campus ever since.

- Pennsylvania Beta is committed to serving others. Last
year, the chapter completed nearly 1,000 community service
hours through many projects including Habitat for Humanity,
MS Walk, and Students Against Multiple Sclerosis.

- Pennsylvania Beta participates in many Inter-Greek activities
at Allegheny College. The chapter has won the award for the
best Homecoming float three years in a row. The chapter has
also won the Greek Awards for Most Philanthropic Chapter in
2004 and Most Interfraternal Chapter in 2005.

- Pennsylvania Beta has a commitment to creating student
leaders. Brothers are involved in many campus activities that
include sports, community service organizations, and honor
societies. Recently, Pennsylvania Beta Brothers Colin Morgan
'03 and Brandon Perpich '03 were elected President and Vice
President respectively of the Allegheny Student Government.
